MEET Heidi

Hi There!

I'm Heidi Milton.  Also known as "Tidy Heidi"  😀

I'm so glad you've stopped by to share my appreciation of organization!

I have had a zest for organizing for as long as I can remember.
I was the friend that offered to come help when your mom said you couldn't go out of the house until your room was clean.  I was the babysitter that always left your home just a tiny bit tidier than I found it.   Whether I was re-arranging my own toy closet, putting order to the hairbrush drawer at the local beauty shop that I went to with my mother, or occasionally helping my father organize all the trinkets and tools in his workshop, it seems I have always been drawn to opportunities to serve others and help renew and in some cases redefine their space in a way that would bring more peace and happiness to spend time in.

Though I didn't realize it at the time, I first developed time management skills all through high school and college when I was constantly balancing a bundle of extra curricular activities around school work and part time jobs. 

My organizational skills were further developed in the professional work force following completing a in Mass Communications working at an event planning company, as a retail manager, and eventually an assistant teacher in an elementary classroom.

My skills are always put to the test in my own home where I strive to keep our blended family happily organized.

Though it would be a few years before I recognized that all these experiences were leading me to pursue a career as a Professional Organizer, I always knew I'd enjoy running my own business.

It is my goal to spend time each and every day reading, practicing and learning new and novel ideas to build on and improve my organizational skills and general know-how in order to serve a variety of organizational challenges and be prepared to offer multitudes of  individual solutions.
